Issues/Concerns

Equipment

+ How RTS-M gets equipment - (CASCOM POI/TDA Change)

- Tier 2B/ FAD IV

+ Resource - no apparent plan to resource RTS-Ms before POI's are
approved

+ Need same training aids/cut away engines - one standard of
training

+ Should be included in BOlP's and “pushed" new equipment as it
is incorporated into POI

Equipping the RTS-M

New Equipment must be fielded as specified by CASCOM POI, to
support the TATS courseware. This does not happen! (RTS-M's
only have one year to implement!)

Additional equipment is required to teach the TATS courseware.
Significant TDA changes are required as a result of new TATS
Courseware! (Time frame to get changes approved and
low FAD virtually ensures RTS-M will not get the
equipment within the 1 year period).

Currently equipment is requested on a FORSCOM -156R.

(NOTE: Requested 156R equipment will be
disassembled to train maintenance tasks and will not
be used as it was intended .

RTS-Ms are not identified in BOlPs for training equipment to
support the TASS mission. Force Development conference
indicated this will not happen.

Recommendation

_ Before new POI's are released, a plan should
be developed to equip the RTS-M according
to the requirements.

A reality check needs to be done on
the 1 year to implement new TATS
courses.

Issues/Concerns

• 915E for RC is programmed in ATRRS for
the 7 week 1 day AC course

• Quota allocation needs to move to the RC
course once Annual Capacities are loaded
